  3. Actually, the prices here are fairly low, if you can use the item. For instance, I see that the Manual of War is offered for a price of around 6000 gp less than I have seen in my travels. I am not familiar with the other items. And, of course, these are only opening bids...

  4. Good point, Tala. If I were able to secure that book for the opening price, it would be well worth it. I believe I'll bid on it. And perhaps stand next to it when others come to look at it. And frown at them.

    1. In addition, if you would like, I could keep an eye on any party that seems to be ignoring your subtle hints, buy them a drink, poison them, and restrain them until the auction is over.
