I hear the voice of rage and ruin.

As you and your companions come back into town from Tula's Crypt, you all notice that the night is black as pitch, but for the bright glowing white luminescence  of the unusually large full moon....

    1. "What does it mean, this giant Moon?"

    2. It's so weird man... it's bigger than I've ever seen it before. It's like, totally in-phase for the time of the month and all, but wow...so huge. It's like it just said 'bam!' and there it was.
No clouds, no stars... it's like you could just reach out and touch it .
(Chad just keeps staring at the moon)

  2. As the party approaches town, Tala seems to be more silent than normal, ignoring the usual taunts by Mal and the praises by the half-giant. In the little time the rest of the party has known her, they have become accustomed to her expressions, but this one seems foreign to her.

    Almost as if she is...worried.

Entering the Inn, she does not stop at the bar with the others to celebrate or refresh herself with drink, but rather talks to no one, and, seemingly deep in thought, proceeds directly to her room.

  3. Walking back to town, Samanthi and Mal have a long discussion on how to divide the newly acquired possessions. While Samanthi attempts to press upon the young Galtish warrior the "Drumish Way", Mal seems reluctant to concur. Mal posits the merits of more of a communal property approach. The one thing the two can agree upon is that a strong ale will definitely "help" the discussion.

As they reach the Inn, Samanthi slaps a hand around Mal's broad shoulders escorting him to the bar. "You should see the markets of Kerse my friend... they are a sight unlike any other market that you will find..."

  4. Entering the Inn, the exhaustion of a long trek, and the dangers of the road set into Kulman. He knows in his heart he is on a noble path, a righteous path to protect those who cannot protect themselves, and in that he is finding peace from the sadness that has consumed his heart...

"Gentlemen, it seems that our Drow companion has made her way to find some rest, I plan to do the same yet first shall check on Heshen to see if he has learned anything about this calamity we face.."

With that Kulman nods in turn to Mal, Wong, Samanthi, Thornborn, and Chad in a manner of gratitude and acceptance, waiting for an acknowledgement from each that they have seen his expression and then he travels toward Heshen's room to discover if any new truths have unfolded.

  5. With a fresh ale in hand, Samanthi hears Kulman indicate his intention on checking in w/ the druid. He turns to Mal. "Perhaps we should check in w/ our benefactor and see what information he has been able to glean from the books we recovered."

"Afterwards, I think we should report to the Baroness our findings from Tula's tomb. I got so distracted by the shinny things we found down there, that I seem to have forgotten the reason we went there in the first place. Were we to look for the bones of Aterprax down there to verify that the illusory "Dragon's Demand" was just that... illusory.... Or were we just on the quest to recover the tools of the last great dragon slayers? Perhaps a discussion with Heshen will provide some clarity on our next move."
