As ThorBjorn steps from the stone doorway back into the snow covered streets, the door seemingly closes behind him on its own, leaving the dwarves, and their human companion, inside. Snow starts to gently fall around all of you as the silence in the town is deafening.
"Gents... I had a thought while we were talking to the dwarves. I think I know where we need to go next. Let's find a safe place to discuss. Wong or Tala, do we have a method of enhanced travel??? I'd hate to have any extra ears overhearing our discussions..."
ReplyDeleteWong looks around, but Tala is not to be seen. "Tala!" He hollers. "We're moving out!" he then turns to the other party members. "Given that we just left potentially hostile folks in that shack, I suggest we move our conversation to someplace defensible and discuss the paths we may choose. Thomas and I have come up with a spot."
ReplyDeleteBarring strong objection, Thomas and Wong lead the party back up the hillside to the cavern where they first arrived in the valley. Therein they locate some bedrolls, rations, a few other miscellaneous supplies, and a simple tapestry hanging on the wall. After careful examination, the tapestry still shows no sign of any special attributes, magical or otherwise.
"Options?"
