Wong draws out the diagram as he ponders Thomas’s musings. “There are spells that can capture the essence of something, like a soul, in objects. In addition, all magic has a source, and some believe Dragons to be pure magic. Perhaps their death has something to do with filling the orbs. We now know there is more than one orb, and more than one color dragon. Also, we know that the Divination Magic, as Tala describes being trapped in the orb, seemed to stop working....about the time you killed the one who called himself Aperatax, the green dragon Sanjee. We also know that at least two other colors are dead...the blue that the dwarves had, and the white one you killed. I wonder what the Blue's name was. think the dwarves will tell us?"
"As I said, the dwarves are gone. And very clearly it has been told to me that the dragon worshipers were intent on killing the dragons. Perhaps it is not the dragons they worship, but the magic. Or, perhaps when the final dragon is killed and the orbs are brought together, it will bring about an even greater dragon - the grey, for instance.
"It is too bad about the magic. I hope no one needs restoration in the future. And I was counting on first blinding then deafening Syndrith before slitting her throat."
